EIB delivered TRY 1 billion 60 million of state aid to exporters

In the first half of 2024, Aegean Exporters' Associations ensured that TRY 563 million 262 thousand of state aid reached exporters. There was an 88 percent increase in the state aids mediated by EİB.

In the first half of 2025, the members of the Aegean Exporters' Associations, who benefited from TRY 1 billion 60 million of state aid, exported USD 9 billion 22 million.

Jak Eskinazi, Coordinator President of the Aegean Exporters' Associations, underlined that while exporters are struggling to compete with their competitors in export markets in the spiral of high inflation, high interest rates and low exchange rates, state aid is a lifeline for exporters.

Sharing that the budget of the Ministry of Trade allocated TRY 33 billion of state aid to exporters for 2025, Eskinazi said that they are working hard to utilize the entire budget.

Supports should be increased at the rate of 1% of our exports

“Our state aids department is the most crowded team within the Aegean Exporters' Associations,” stated Eskinazi, “While 1,326 companies and business associations benefited from state aids in the January - June period of 2024, we finalized the state aids applications of 1,704 companies and business associations in 2025. At the end of our ”Aegean Business World Meetings" meeting series, which we organized in all provinces in the Aegean Region, we are happy to see a 29% increase in the number of companies benefiting from state aids. We reiterate our demand that our exporters be granted state support in the amount of 1% of our annual exports in the process of toughening global competition."

In 2024, the Aegean Exporters' Associations mediated the delivery of TRY 1 billion 261 million of state aid to exporter companies and cooperation organizations.

Overseas fair participation, TURQUALITY and agricultural supports are in the top three

While the Ministry of Trade provides state aids to exporters in 16 items, the first place in the supports mediated by the Aegean Exporters' Associations in the first half of 2025 was foreign fair participation with TRY 389 million 780 thousand. While TURQUALITY support ranked second with TRY 207 million 936 thousand, agricultural support ranked third with TRY 180 million 39 thousand. Domestic fair participation support was TRY 86 million 952 thousand, market entry support TRY 79 million 552 thousand, unit rent support TRY 42 million 142 thousand, sectoral delegations support TRY 29 million 202 thousand, E-Export support TRY 18 million 330 thousand.
