According to Danieli, the new vertical winding line will be designed for the production of alloy and micro-alloy steel round bars with diameters ranging from 13 to 45 mm. The maximum rolling speed will be 15 m/s. The line will be equipped with water and air cooling systems to ensure temperature control. Commissioning is scheduled for the end of 2022.

Arjas Steel plant, formerly Gerdau Steel India, currently produces around 300 thousand tons of steel per year, but this figure will be valid until 2023-2024. The company plans to increase productivity to 600 thousand tons per year. It also continues to specialize in the supply of high quality long products made of special steels used in automotive and mechanical engineering.
