CRC imports of Türkiye decreased by 22.2% in January-March period

SteelRadar analysts' data compiled from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) indicated that Türkiye's cold rolled coil steel (CRC) imports in March 2024 decreased by 8.6% compared to the same month of the previous year, from 74,698 tons to 68,284 tons. Compared to the previous month of February, it increased by 46.6%.

In January-March period, total CRC imports decreased by 22.2% yoy from 201,185 tons to 156,605 tons.

The leading CRC importing countries in March were South Korea with 25,314 tons, Russia with 16,310.8 tons, China with 9,676.6 tons, Spain with 4,792.6 tons and the Netherlands with 3,811.5 tons.
