In the API2 Rotterdam Coal Futures Market, the price of coal for November futures contracts reached $275 per ton, breaking a record.
ANNUAL INCREASE IN THE PRICE OF COAL 400 PERCENT
The increase in the price of coal, which was at the level of 55 dollars per ton in November contracts last year, reached 400 percent.
Coal prices had increased by nearly 70 percent in the last month.
