Brazil's wire rod exports fell in December last year

Exports declined to 3,500 tons in December

In December 2023, Brazil's wire rod exports decreased by 89.9% m-o-m to 3,500 tons.

ArcelorMittal had the largest share

ArcelorMittal made the largest contribution to the country's wire rod exports with 2,800 tons.

Exports to the US amounted to 2,000 tons and to South America to 1,500 tons.

Wire rod imports amounted to 19,000 tons

Brazil's wire rod imports in December increased by 37.8% from November to 19,000 tons. Of these, 11,000 tons were imported from China and 6,000 tons from Russia.
