Türkiye's wire rod exports experience a sharp decline in September

According to data compiled from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Türkiye's wire rod exports in September 2023 decreased by 65.5% compared to the same month of the previous year and by 49.33% compared to the previous month to 54,507 tons.

The export figure, which was 1,012,551 tons in the January-September period of 2022, decreased by 58.57% to 419,475 tons in the January-September period of this year.

The highest exports in August

While the highest export figure in the 9-month period of last year was recorded in September, the highest export figure this year was realized in August.

Lowest exports in April

The lowest exports were recorded in January last year with 59,600 tons and in April this year with 26,859 tons.
