U.S. rebar imports increased m-o-m

In February, US imports of rebar increased on a monthly basis, but decreased on an annual basis. Imports increased by 4.9% compared to January, reaching 96,543 tons, but showed a 30.6% decrease compared to the same period in February 2022.

Imports from Algeria were 50,522 tons, from Mexico were 18,638 tons, from Canada were 12,909 tons, from the Dominican Republic were 8,401 tons, and from Brazil were 4,918 tons.

During this period, the import value amounted to $68.2 million.
