The US' import of HRC has decreased

Monthly Imports of Hot Rolled Coil Decreased by 22.6%

In March of this year, the United States' imports of hot rolled coil decreased by 22.6% compared to February, and decreased by 56.3% compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching a level of 106,004.

Canada Was the Largest Importer

Imports from Canada amounted to 99,929 tons, followed by Japan with 24,087 tons, Mexico with 10,967 tons, Brazil with 8,566 tons, and France with 1,576 tons.

Import Value Decreased

During this period, the value of imports decreased on a monthly and yearly basis, reaching $88.6 million.
