C&D Steel and Iron Group operates as a specialized operational unit within Xiamen C&D Inc. (600153.SH), a core member of Xiamen C&D Corp. Ltd., which is listed in the Fortune Global 500. The group is focused on the steel supply chain. It is a member of the China Iron and Steel Association and is represented at the vice-chairman level under the administration of the China National Association of Metal Material Trade.
In 2024, the company ranked first in the “Top 100 Steel Trading Enterprises Nationwide” list and also became an industry leader in marketing capability and sales performance.
The group’s structure includes six limited companies and one cement department, as well as the C&D Iron and Metal Research Institute, more than 50 local subsidiaries, over 50 domestic offices, eight overseas subsidiaries, and more than 20 overseas offices.
Operating with an integrated supply chain model that covers the entire process from raw material mining to finished steel products and recycling, the group provides its customers across all segments of the steel industry with the "LIFT" service package — Logistics, Information, Finance, and Trade.

It operates six scrap metal processing parks with an annual capacity of 2 million tons. Additionally, its facility dedicated to steel plate and sheet production spans more than 120 hectares and has an annual processing capacity of over 2 million tons.
