Miilux OY introduced its new armored steels at the Eurosatory Fair

Introducing the new armored steel named Protection 560T and the enhanced features of Protection 600T in its product range, Miilux OY also showcased the submarine steel solutions it added to its product range in 2023 to visitors at the fair.

Being the first and only domestic armored steel producer in Türkiye, Miilux OY participated in the Eurosatory Fair, one of the leading events in the international defense and security sector. Miilux OY, hosted its visitors in Paris between June 17-21, 2024, and presented its state-of-the-art products to domestic and foreign industry stakeholders.

In line with its goal to increase its presence on the global stage, Miilux OY participated in the Eurosatory 2024 Fair, showcasing the new armored steel products Protection 560T and the enhanced features of Protection 600T in the Protection product range. Miilux OY also introduced the Protection 360T, which is particularly preferred in main battle tank projects, along with the submarine steel qualities it has been working intensively to add to its product range.

The Protection 560T exhibited by Miilux OY at the fair, which is part of the very high hardness steel group, can be used in armor systems requiring high hardness and formability. Compliant with international standards and added to the Protection product series, Protection 560T also contributes to reducing weight in next-generation armored vehicle projects. It is expected that the new armored steel, Protection 560T, which is aimed at meeting the needs of many companies in the international defense industry, will receive significant interest in foreign markets.

Türkiye joins the league of submarine steel producing countries

By showcasing submarine steel for the first time at the IDEF 2023 Fair, Miilux OY included Türkiye in the league of countries producing submarine steel and received significant interest from visitors to the Eurosatory 2024 Fair with this product. The production of submarine steel, which very few countries in the world such as Germany, France, the USA, and China can produce, represents a very critical step for Türkiye in reducing its dependency on the defense industry.
