In the economy, all eyes are on the 12th development plan

Following the 12th Development Plan, it is expected that the 2024 Central Government Budget Bill Proposal will be presented to the Parliament on Tuesday, October 17. Budget discussions will commence with a presentation by Vice President Yılmaz in the committee on October 20.

The budget discussions for ministries and institutions are planned to be concluded in the committee on November 24. Following the committee discussions, the budget is expected to be evaluated in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) General Assembly from December 4 to 15.

The 12th Development Plan will cover the years 2024-2028 and is expected to serve as a comprehensive roadmap, outlining Turkey's goals and strategies for this period. It aims to activate Turkey's potential on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Republic, offering a holistic approach to the country's development.
