SSAB, CorPower Ocean'ın dalga enerjisi santrali için fosil içermeyen çelik tedarik edeceğini duyurdu.

SSAB, CorPower Ocean'a fosil içermeyen çelik tedarik edecek

İsveç merkezli çelik üreticisi SSAB, dalga enerjisi teknolojisi geliştiricisi CorPower Ocean ile fosilsiz çelikle inşa edilen dünyanın ilk dalga enerjisi santralinin geliştirilmesi için bir anlaşma imzaladı.

CorPower Ocean, karbon emisyonları mevcut piyasadakilerden çok daha düşük olan bir dalga enerjisi sistemi inşa etmek için SSAB tarafından tedarik edilen fosilsiz çeliği kullanacak.

SSAB, fosilsiz çeliği 2026 yılından itibaren CorPower Ocean'ın ticari ürünlerine entegre etmeyi hedefliyor.

Ayrıca şirket, 2026 yılında piyasaya ticari ölçekte fosilsiz çelik sağlamayı ve 2030 yılı civarında faaliyetlerinden kaynaklanan CO2 emisyonlarını büyük ölçüde azaltmayı hedefliyor.
