Full utilization of EU quotas for 7 products as of June 25

China, South Korea, India and Türkiye have fully utilized their quotas for 7 different products in the April 1-June 30, 2025 quota period.

According to data obtained by SteelRadar from the European Commission, China used all of its quota of 4,915 tons of stainless HR quarto plate and 140,266 tons of merchant bar and light section. South Korea used 71,048 tons of organic coated sheets and 161,143 tons of HRC quota, while India used 5,880 tons of stainless seamless tubes. Türkiye, on the other hand, used up 14,931 tons of large welded tubes and 94,398 tons of rebar quotas.

6 Products with Quotas Below 50 Tons

China, India and Türkiye are also together in products with quotas below 50 tons, with Taiwan joining them. China has only 8 tons remaining from its 128,212-ton quota of 4B metallic coated sheets and 13 tons remaining from its 8,059-ton quota of other welded pipes, while India has only 2 tons remaining from its 31,731-ton quota of stainless bars and light sections and 16 tons remaining from its 53,620-ton quota of 4A metallic coated sheets. Türkiye has only 2 tons left from its quota of 15,714 tons of organic coated sheets and 15 tons left from its quota of 83,934 tons of hollow sections. Taiwan, on the other hand, has only 47 tons left from its quota of 22,857 tons of organic coated steel sheets.
