Türkiye’s CRC imports decrease 30.4% in February

According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), CRC imports declined from 73,217 tons in the same month of the previous year to 50,940 tons. Compared to January, when imports stood at 63,416 tons, the February figure indicates a 19.7% decrease.

In the January–February period, total CRC imports decreased by 37.28% year-on-year, falling from 170,202 tons to 106,755 tons.

In February, Türkiye’s top CRC import sources were South Korea, China, and the Russian Federation. Imports from South Korea totaled 22,893 tons, while imports from China reached 19,880 tons and those from the Russian Federation amounted to 7,192 tons. Additionally, 5,399 tons were imported from France and 1,444 tons from Belgium.
