Brazil's wire rod exports increased on a monthly basis

In March 2023, Brazil's wire rod exports amounted to approximately 24,000 tons, increasing by about 35% compared to February, on a monthly basis.

The demand from Gerdau was in first place

The exports made to Gerdau were about 12,300 tons, the exports to South American countries were 12,000 tons, the exports to the USA were 6,600 tons, and the exports to the Dominican Republic were 5,600 tons.

During this period, wire rod imports decreased

Brazil's wire rod imports decreased by 9,600% on a monthly basis, decreasing to 8.6 tons. Imports from China were 4,700 tons, imports from Russia were 3,800 tons, and imports from Germany were at a level of 800 tons.
